About Michele Groth

I grew up sewing and practicing various needle arts.
I began to make cloth dolls in 1993.

I spent nearly 20 years in the computer industry doing everything from programming to teaching to marketing, including management positions. In 1997, after nearly 20 years climbing the corporate ladder, and with the addition of my first child,  I decided it was time to devote my time to raising children and creating fiber art.

I havetaken classes with many internationally known cloth doll, quilt, and fiber arts artists.
